Evolve Wellness

Popular trends in today's culture have been encouraging people to lead a healthier life style, whether that be through dieting or by becoming more active. Experienced yoga instructor Cheri Dostal, owner and creator of Evolve Wellness, LLC, also encourages people to be active as she enjoys sharing her ten years of experience in the fitness industry with each of her clients.

"I have found a great need in the community for people to focus on and find better health. People know fitness deserves their attention, yet so many people struggle to actively pursue it," said Dostal, when asked what hurdles she has faced with establishing her business. "We need education and accountability, and this has been a challenge for me when trying to reach new customers."

Dostal has been working hands-on with personal training clients consistently since May 2003 and has been teaching since December 2000. Currently, she holds the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) certificate as a Certified Personal Trainer. Evolve Wellness, LLC, strives to provide clients with customized, responsive service by developing an exercise plan to fit the needs of each client.

Dostal completed Donna Farhi's "Intensive Yoga Teacher Training Course" in January 2010 in Christchurch, New Zealand. She finished 150 hours of training under the guidance of Farhi, an internationally known yoga teacher and author of several texts on the practice, theory and teaching methods of yoga.

In 2007, Dostal met her first customer at the Women's Business Conference, and each year has become more involved as an exhibitor, speaker and a planning team member.

"The Women's Business Conference and Western Dairyland have been such a help to me getting started as an entrepreneur," Dostal said. "I worked with Julie Bollinger at Western Dairyland through the ABC's to Starting Your Business program. We learn basics about establishing your business, writing a business plan, marketing and more skills."

Evolve Wellness, LLC, continues to prosper as Dostal holds many workshops in the community.

"Word of mouth has been my biggest help in regards to how I find business," Dostal said. "As long as I continue to share my passion and knowledge with others, I trust that my business will continue to grow."

"My desire is to help reach the community at large, to touch people that have never felt the joy and strength that comes from vitality and fitness," explains Dostal, as she reflects on the success of Evolve Wellness, LLC.  "This is a big project, and I will keep encouraging people one day at a time to live well."
