Looking for hands-on training for the online version of QuickBooks?
The Western Wisconsin Women’s Business Center is offering a QuickBooks Online Basic Class. The hands-on class is being held on Thursday, April 25th from 5:30-8:30 pm at the Western Dairyland Community Action Agency, 418 Wisconsin Street, Eau Claire.
No prior experience with QuickBooks is necessary for this class, but attendees should have basic computer skills. The class is hands-on using the QuickBooks Online version and allows time for students to practice what they have learned. We will cover a QuickBooks Online Overview, general set-up including bank feeds for QBO Essentials & QBO Plus subscriptions/users.
Topics to be covered include:
• Getting started with QuickBooks: Receive an overview of accounting terms and key financial reports as you learn how to set up QuickBooks specifically for your business and work with a chart of accounts, registers and bank accounts. Does not include construction or inventory set-up.
• For current QBO subscription users only - who can access a private hotspot or vpn: If you would like to connect to your business banking accounts to QBO banking you will need to know your user id, password and all security questions that apply to your banking accounts: business checking, savings (if different) and credit card(s).
• If time allows: More in-depth training on how to handle your data transactions that come through the QBO banking.
Tuition is $99. Scholarships are available for income-eligible individuals. Bring your own laptop or borrow one from our computer lending library. A free 30-day trial of QuickBooks Online can be accessed here: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/online/. Participants should be prepared with passwords and access to outside accounts. Space is limited to 20 participants.
Classes will be taught by Tammy McCartney of Beyond Bookkeeping.
