The webinar was very informative. I’m always looking for spaces for my Nail Tech students to grow in their entrepreneurial journey. I am a service-connected disabled veteran myself and my doctorate is in business admin with a focus on entrepreneurship and small business sustainability. I have found that the Western WI Women's Business Center is really accessible for all. I thank you for allowing me into the space and I will share information with our students.

Being a part of the Women's Business Conference in Eau Claire put on by the Western Wisconsin Women's Business Center & amazing sponsors this year was a highlight of my fall event season! From the breakout sessions to the networking opportunities to the keynote to the vendor/exhibitor hall - it was a great day to empower other women in business! I was thrilled to speak at the 19th Annual Women’s Business Conference sponsored by the Western Wisconsin Women's Business Center. It was such a fabulous conference! This event provided us with the perfect setting to share, learn from each other, network and I even got a few hugs. Can’t wait for next year's conference! If you have the chance, I highly recommend attending.

You all did a terrific job setting up your conference and your hard work showed. Nice, nice job. I really enjoyed the sessions that I attended.  And the Power Panel was very good. Also, thanks for lunch and the swag bag. Wanted you to know what a nice conference you put together.  Looking forward to the next conference!

Having never run a business of this scale before, Sorensen appreciated how the Business Development Specialists at the Western Wisconsin Women's Business Center walked her through every step. Specifically, in terms of finances, they assisted her in getting set up with QuickBooks, which she notes has been a great help. As well, she emphasized that they have been able to address her concerns by helping her work through challenges progressively, in a chronological way. She mentions, “The Business Development Specialists have been absolutely wonderful to work with and have been helpful in pointing me in the right direction.”

– Penny Sorensen, Owner of American Phoenix Transportation

“I had absolutely no idea how to start a business," Schneider said. "Karman helped me make sure I took the correct steps to start up.” With the help of the Women's Business Center, she was able to acquire her LLC, find insurance, and prepare for tax season. “The opportunities they have given me to grow and succeed have been so important to me, and without them, I have no idea where I would be at today!” Schneider said.

– Sarah Schneider, Eau Claire Pet Care

Had a fabulous time meeting other women who I was able to network with and simply enjoy their company [throughout the conference]. I was able to attend all four of my workshops and learned quite a bit from all of them. I have a few take-aways that I can apply to my work life and my personal life. Thank you to all who put in all of the hard work. It is never an easy task putting on an event like this. Great job to everyone!

– Lynn, Past Conference Attendee

The FastTrac class helped me shift my mindset into thinking like a business owner and provided me with practical steps for turning my side hustle into a growing business!
