Recordkeeping Basics 101
Western Dairyland’s Business Center & Women’s Business Center are offering Recordkeeping Basics 101. During this session participants will learn tips on how to set up an effective small business office filing system, how to set up an effective non-computerized cash basis record keeping system, practice recording business income and expenses in the cash method, and create a profit and loss statement that will generate numbers needed to fill in the schedule C business tax return.
Good recordkeeping is a critical tool that saves any business time and effort at tax time. By developing an organized record keeping system that will help you develop profit or loss statements, you will be able to run a more efficient business, which may lead to increased profitability. Accurate record keeping puts a business is in a better position to manage the business and to make critical business decisions.
Cost of the class is $15 and scholarships are available for those who income-qualify. Space is limited, so registration and payment is due three business days prior to the first day of class.
