Business Basics 101

The Western Dairyland Business Center and Women’s Business Center present Business Basics 101.   Most small businesses fail within the first five years.  However, in Business Basics 101, you will be taught how to compile a winning business plan and beat the odds from an experienced Business Development Specialist.  Transform your business concept into reality by learning how to establish a business legal structure, obtain financing, maintain a budget, identify your customer and execute an effective marketing strategy.  Afterwards, attendees may apply for free, confidential, one-on-one assistance from Western Dairyland’s Business Development Specialists. Our skilled staff can assist you in determining the feasibility of a specific business idea, proving a market and preparing a business.  A comprehensive business plan with financial forecasts will not only provide you with a road map to business success, but it will fulfill the requirements of a potential lender.

The cost for this class is $15 and includes class materials.  Because space is limited, pre-registration and payment must be received three business days prior to the first day of class.  Scholarships are available to eligible individuals.
