Business QuickBooks - Online Version

The Western Dairyland Business Center and Women’s Business Center present Business QuickBooks class. The hands-on class is being held on Thursday, July 12th from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at the Western Dairyland Community Action Agency, 418 Wisconsin Street, Eau Claire.
No prior experience with QuickBooks is necessary for this class, but attendees should have basic computer skills. The class is hands-on using the QuickBooks Online version and allows time for students to practice what they have learned. Bring your own laptop or borrow one from our computer lending library. A free 30-day trial of QuickBooks Online can be accessed here: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/online/
Topics to be covered include:
- Getting started with QuickBooks: Receive an overview of accounting terms and key financial reports as you learn how to set up QuickBooks specifically for your business and work with a chart of accounts, registers and bank accounts.
- Entering sales in QuickBooks: Learn how to receive payments and make deposits, process payables and disbursements, and other useful features.
Tuition is $99. Scholarships are available for income-eligible individuals. Laptops will be provided for use during the class. However, space is limited to 20 participants. Register online at www.SuccessfulBusiness.org or in person at the Western Dairyland office in downtown Eau Claire.
Classes will be taught by Janet Heidtke, president/CEO of Jr Global Solutions LLC. Janet is an expert in QuickBooks and also has experience in documenting a wide variety of accounting information systems.
