Finding the Road to Success: Business Financial Management 101

The Western Dairyland Business Center invites entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners to attend "Finding the Road to Success: Business Financial Management 101" on Tuesday, May 21st. The class will run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Black River area Chamber of Commerce, 120 N Water St, Black River Falls 54615. Tuition is $29 and class materials are included. Scholarships are available for income-eligible individuals.

This introductory class will cover the fundamentals of financial management for small business, identify and demonstrate financial management practices, rules and tools commonly available to a small business and review the basics of financing either a start-up or a growing business. No prior business or finance experience is necessary.

After the class, attendees may request free, one-on-one assistance from Western Dairyland's Business Development Specialists delving deeper into the individual small business needs including preparing a business plan with financial forecasting to present to lenders.

There are three easy ways to register and pay for the class: online at www.SuccessfulBusiness.org, by phone at 715-836-7511 ext. 171, or in person at the Western Dairyland office in Eau Claire. Because space is limited, pre-registration and payment is required by May 12th.
