Fran Schneider was
able to turn her love for animals combined with her experience as a
hair stylist into a sucessful pet grooming business. Today her mobile
grooming salon serves throughout the Chippewa Valley.
The process of turning
Schneider's business idea into reality was aided through Western
Dairyland. Western Dairyland helped with:
- developing a
business plan
- obtainining permits
- helping to develop
her logo through the use of another client of Western Dairyland.
Now that Schneider's
business is in full bloom, she finds herself driving to her cats and
dogs throughout the Chippewa Valley. Through her services, pets are
treated at the place of the spa and have no contact with other animals.
The animals also avoid having stress from being stuck in a kennel all
day.
In addition to
shampooing and clipping coats, Schneider gives the animals a 12 Step
Grooming Care. Schneider checks the animals for fleas and ticks,
brushes their teeth, brushes their coats, and cleans out their ears.
